FS2 in 2024

  • In C&L (Communication and Language) and PSED (Personal, Social and Emotional Development), Reading and Physical Development disadvantaged learners achieved higher in 2024 than the national for DA in 2024.

  • The percentage of DA pupils passing the PSC is above the figure for DA pupils nationally.

End of KS1

Year 2 in 2024

  • The 2024 Year 2 cohort have a significant level of complexity
  • 48% SEND. 4 children are at level 4 or 5 on the SSG - the highest levels of need. A further 24 children are at levels 2 or 3.
  • 64% disadvantaged learners, of which 38% are also SEND.
  • 32% EAL 

This cohort attainment and progress was significantly impacted by the two COVID lockdowns during Foundation Stage, this has had an impact on academic outcomes at the end of KS1.

KS2 Multiplication Tables Check

Year 4 in 2024

  • 46% of our pupils scored 25/25 in comparison to the national figure of 34%. This is 12% above national data
  • 40% of disadvantaged pupils achieved full marks, 15% higher than National DA and 3% higher than National Non-DA.
  • Disadvantaged pupils scored an average score of 21.9 which is 3 above the national average score for disadvantaged pupils.
  • The implementation of the Number Sense Times Table Fluency program has had a positive impact on the % of pupils who have scored full marks (25/25) with an increase of 19% from 2022/23.

End of KS2

Year 6 in 2024

  • The percentage of DA pupils achieving the expected standard at the end of KS2, in reading and maths, is increasing over time. 
  • 50% of DA learners achieved expected standard in reading compared to 37% of DA learners in 2019.
  • The percentage of disadvantaged learners achieving the expected in reading has increased by 13% compared to 2019. The gap to national is closing gradually over time despite increasing levels of SEND. 
  • 43% of disadvantaged learners who also have SEND achieved the expected standard in maths and reading.   
  • The percentage of disadvantaged learners in the Y6 cohort (63%) is twice the national average.
  • 20 pupils (32%) arrived after FS2 - did not attend our Foundation Stage
