Support your child at home with reading at home

Reading at home is one of the most valuable ways to support your child’s learning. Sharing books together, talking about stories and encouraging regular reading helps children develop their vocabulary, imagination, confidence and understanding of the world around them. Just 10 minutes of reading each day can make a significant difference to a child’s progress, building the strong literacy skills they need to succeed across the whole curriculum. Most importantly, reading together helps foster a lifelong love of books and learning.
